Blackburn Festival of Light 2022

Official film 2022

This is the film from 2022 created by Scott David Jackson featuring ‘Minoorne Labajalg‘ by ‘Don’t Feed The Peacocks‘. We felt it was really important to look at the long term impact of the event and involvement on young people that we are working with, so this film showcases a success story as well as the highlights of the workshops and the parade.

Window Trail 2022

Photos of the window trail – these are unofficial images taken by a volunteer who attended the trail on the opening night. It shows the wide range of work created by students and artists through the small commissions- 18 locations in the town centre and 42 contributors as well as the additional engagement and contributions from 2 schools with over 100 bird silhouettes being created to incorporate into the work.
